Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain for The US women's Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. the Final Five. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. In addition, she took home a bronze medal on the balance beam. It made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. Gold medals she took home at the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold medal for the US team. This made her, and teammate Gabby - the first Americans - to achieve this achievement. Additionally, she won silver medals for the all-around individual event and in floor exercise. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Furthermore she was a part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics squads. She learned gymnastics from the age of two and her most loved event is Floor Exercise. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her line of signature leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
